New Year's Eve day Sophia, Matt, and I drove from Missouri back to my Mom's house in Kansas. When we got there my brother and his family were there. The kids thought it was a good time to celebrate New Year's Eve.
These three are pretty silly when they get together.
As I mentioned earlier, we celebrated Alex's 18th birthday a little early.

Sophia didn't get to stay up until midnight, but her Lady read her some books before bed. These two both love books. I don't even know how many books they read together over the week.
Matt, Mom, Mark, and I stayed up to see the clock strike midnight and then went to bed. The next day it was time for us to head back to Phoenix. :( We were happy to be able to fly home with Jordan, Cammie, Brennen, and Brylee. The kids were occupied with their games while we waited to board the plane.

They were so cute and played together and watched shows the whole flight.

That wraps up our trip. We had a great time and are now getting back into the swing of things in Phoenix. We are hoping to make another trip back to Kansas this summer...maybe at the end of my maternity leave. We will see.
